the meaning behind it all

Easter....what does it really mean? Yes it is about Christ, His death, and resurrection, but what does it really mean to you? That is what I have been thinking about lately. It is easy to get so caught up in the "holiday", that you miss the meaning behind it. Maybe slowly over time the meaning has changed. Not actually, but in our minds. I think Easter, like our relationship with God, should be very personal. Jesus died for us corporately, but He also died for us individually. As you take time this weekend to celebrate with family and friends, I want to encourage you to seek time away. Away from the celebration about Sunday morning and spend some time reflecting on the events Friday. Spend some time with the One who the holiday is all about, ask Him what He thinks, then simply listen................be blessed.
